New Openav Control Software

After overwhelming success in closed beta testing of the new OpenAV platform, our software development team is preparing for the largest public demonstration of the product thus far. The Smart Homes Show, part of the National Homebuilding and Renovating Show starting on April 10th, will serve to showcase the capacity of the system to control nigh any device with a minimal amount of specialist prerequisite programming, and all at prices hitherto-unseen in our industry.

There have been a number of exiting new developments of late, each lending enhanced usability to the interface; chief among these was the addition of a picture-in-picture function, which can be expanded to allow the device in use to double as a television. Direct infra-red control of the panels has also been implemented, affording the user an unprecedented degree of control from a single remote.

Notwithstanding the improvements made to our desktop-based user interface, we’ve not stopped there – a more compact deployment, designed for PDAs and Smartphones, is also in development,.
In all, we’re all very excited about the opportunities presented by our new product, and hope that our customers share in this once we’ve perfected it.

For more information on the product please visit our stand (B159) at the Smart Home Show, NEC Birmingham, or contact our head offices in Birmingham City Centre.
